Small Ulta Haul!

So I was in Pittsburgh over the weekend and really needed to stop at Ulta for a new NYX Stay Matte but not Flat powder and an HD eye primer.  I was with my husband and he had to get back home so I said nevermind, I'll just order it from their website.  Well, when I got to the website I saw all NYX was buy one, get one half off so I just HAD to order a few things I had been eyeing up right?  Here's what I ended up ordering.....

NYX stay matte but not flat powder foundation in SMP02 Nude, NYX HD Eyeshadow Base, NYX HD Photogenic concealer in CWO3 Light, NYX jumbo pencil in Milk and a Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Pencil in 005 Nude.

I have used the powder and eyeshadow base before and I. Love. Them.  

The powder foundation is great for days when you just want something on your face to run some errands and for when you need that extra bit of coverage over your regular foundation.  It doesn't leave your face looking dry and matte, but also doesn't make it look like you took a bath in shimmer.  

The eyeshadow base is kind of a light nude color which is great to cancel out any color you may have on your lids.  It holds the shadow all day without creasing and is way cheaper than some of the other high end primers.  

As for the jumbo pencil, hd concealer and rimmel pencil, I have seen many reviews/uses of these in various youtube videos and have been wanting to try them all for a while.  The jumbo pencil, I've seen used over primer and under eyeshadow to make the color "pop" more.  I'll get to using them and let you know how it goes!!

When you order online from Ulta, you get to choose a sample pack, there's three different choices and I chose the "Mixed" sample pack.  I have to say, I wasn't really expecting much from it....maybe a couple small things that I would never use.  BUT - what I received has excited me!  

In the sample pack I received Matrix Biolage Exquisite Oil Micro-oil Shampoo and Oil Creme Conditioner ( I will definitely get two uses out of this size); Ouidad Climate Control Heat and Humidity Gel (will also get a couple uses out of this!), and a 2 pack sample of benefit cleansers in Foamingly Clean and Refined Finish Facial Polish (these are also nice sizes, may get more than 2 uses out of these!) They also sent me a coupon for 5 off of a 15 purchase.  I will of course be using this!

I am super duper excited to try the new things and the samples that I got....I'll keep you posted!
